Reading is a process of translating signs and symbols into meaning. There are
three types of readers:
Reading instruction will teach your child the skills necessary to reach
Developmental
- those making normal progress.
Corrective
- those who have mastered some, but not all of the basic skills
mastery level or the child's individual potential level.
Remedial
- those that have pronounced problems and are reading at a level
